The announcements talkgroup is for posting public messages of interest.
Each sub-group is configured for it’s own purpose, which basically equates to differences in when topics are auto-deleted.
If there isn’t a sub-group for the kind of announcement you want to share, create a new topic in #meta and we can figure it out.
